Our Ministry Strategy
Men helping men to grow and thrive. Ecclesiastes 4:12 – “Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.” Men become men in the company of men. Quite simply, that is the strategy of the Men’s Ministry at Second Baptist Church. The vision for the Men’s Ministry is to see men grow in their faith and become strong spiritual leaders for their families, business, church and communities. The purpose of the Second Baptist Church Men’s Ministry is expressed in Colossians 1:28 – “…that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
Our Mission
The mission of the Second Baptist Church Men’s Ministry is to biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, church and places of business, and to develop them in Christian living using the most effective means to impact the world, making a positive difference in this generation and generations of the future.
Involvement
Second Men’s Ministry provides opportunities for growth through small group Bible studies, D-Groups, as well as service teams, and special events that gather men for growth, fellowship, and opportunities for service. Bible Study Registration
Registration is now open online for Bible studies beginning Tuesday, August 1 and Wednesday, August 2. These studies will cover a variety of topics to help you grow in your walk with Christ! Second Men books can be bought at class for $12, and General Bible Study materials will be provided in class.
